500mg NMN Capsules

500mg NMN Capsules is a single-ingredient capsule: 500mg of β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide, one capsule a day, thirty capsules to the bottle. Nothing else is dosed, nothing else is blended in, and the shell is a vegetable capsule rather than gelatin. The label calls it a Cellular Energy Support Formula*.

What NMN actually is

NMN stands for nicotinamide mononucleotide, and the name describes the molecule precisely. A nucleotide is a three-part structure: a nitrogen-containing base, a sugar, and a phosphate group. In this one the base is nicotinamide — a form of vitamin B3 — the sugar is ribose, and there's a single phosphate attached, which is what "mono" is doing in the name. It occurs naturally, in small amounts, in some fruits and vegetables.

The β at the front isn't decoration either. Nucleotides come in two arrangements, alpha and beta, depending on which face of the ribose ring the base sits on. Beta is the arrangement found in nature, and it's the one named on this panel: β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide. If you're comparing NMN products, that Greek letter is worth checking for.

Why a single-ingredient capsule

A blend can pad a headline ingredient out with a handful of supporting extracts and print one total, so you never learn how much of the headline you're getting.

This one doesn't do that. The Supplement Facts panel has exactly one row on it — NMN at 500mg — so the dose is the product. That makes it easy to compare against any other NMN capsule on a per-milligram basis.

The capsule and the rest of the bottle

The shell is HPMC — hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, a shell made from plant cellulose instead of animal gelatin. It's why there's no gelatin anywhere in the bottle, and the label carries vegan, vegetarian and gluten free claims.

The other three ingredients are the ordinary machinery of capsule-making. Microcrystalline cellulose is purified plant cellulose used as a bulking agent, so a 500mg powder fills the capsule properly. Silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate are flow agents — they stop fine powder from clumping and sticking as it moves through the filling equipment. That's the complete list. There's no coating, no sweetener, no color.

How it's taken

One capsule, once a day, with water. There's no flavor, no scoop and no powder to mix, which is most of the reason people pick capsules over an NMN powder in the first place. Thirty capsules is a straight thirty days — one bottle, one month, no arithmetic.

Who it's for

Anyone who's read about NMN and wants it on its own, at a dose they can see, rather than tucked into a multi-ingredient formula. It suits people already running a supplement routine who want a single-ingredient addition, and it suits vegans and vegetarians looking for NMN in a vegetable capsule.
