The two on the front

MCT oil is medium chain triglycerides — a different shape of fat from the long-chain fats in most foods, which is why MCTs turn up in keto and low-carb routines. It's on the panel at 70mg.

L-carnitine is on the panel at 25mg, in the form the label names: L-Carnitine Tartrate.

Inositol is the largest single named ingredient at 500mg — the 631mg row above it covers fifteen at once. Garcinia cambogia fruit extract sits at 200mg, standardised to 50% hydroxycitric acid, the marker the extract is measured by. CLA at 100mg is conjugated linoleic acid, a fatty acid. Choline is on the panel at 200mg, carrying a 37% Daily Value, as choline bitartrate.

About that 631mg blend

The panel prints one number for a group of fifteen ingredients: spirulina powder, L-phenylalanine, L-tyrosine, L-methionine, bromelain, psyllium husk powder, clove bud powder, allspice, kelp 10:1 extract, juniper berry 4:1 extract, buchu leaf 4:1 extract, uva ursi leaf (20% extract), cinnamon bark 10:1 extract (Cinnamomum cassia), cranberry fruit concentrate and grapefruit fruit 4:1 extract. Everything in it is named, but the individual milligrams aren't broken out — 631mg is the total for all fifteen. That's the honest limitation of a proprietary blend and worth knowing before you compare bottles.

How it's taken

Four capsules a day, split as two before breakfast and two before dinner, with water and with meals. The shell is bovine gelatin, so this one isn't vegetarian, and rice flour, vegetable magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide and chlorophyll — the green pigment plants carry — make up the rest.
