Vitamin B12 comes in at 1000mcg as methylcobalamin. B12 is a water-soluble vitamin, and methylcobalamin is one of the forms it's made in. At that dose the panel puts it at 41666.65% of the Daily Value.

Why a strip

The strip itself is pullulan, a polysaccharide film from the same family of material used for vegetarian capsules, with cellulose and mannitol giving it body and lecithin helping everything disperse evenly through the film instead of pooling in one corner. Pectin — the fibre that sets fruit preserves — keeps it pliable.

The practical difference is what the format asks of you. A capsule wants water. A powder wants a shaker and somewhere to rinse it. A can wants fridge space and leaves you with a can.
