What you get in every serving

  • 300 mg Turmeric Powder (root)
  • 200 mg Beet Root Powder (Beta vulgaris) (root)
  • 100 mg Dandelion Powder (leaf)
  • 50 mg Artichoke Extract (Cynara scolymus), standardized to 5% cynarin (whole herb)
  • 50 mg Ginger Powder (root)
  • 50 mg Milk Thistle Powder
  • 20 mg Alfalfa Powder (leaf)
  • 10 mg L-Cysteine Hydrochloride
  • Daily Value is not established for any of the eight, so the panel marks each with ***
  • Non-GMO, in a hypromellose vegetable capsule

The roots

Turmeric Powder (root), 300 mg, is the biggest single amount in the serving — the dried, ground root of the turmeric plant, the spice that turns curry yellow. Worth reading the panel closely: it's whole root powder, not an extract standardized to a curcumin percentage. Those are genuinely different ingredients, and a label that quotes you a percentage is describing something else.

Beet Root Powder (Beta vulgaris) (root), 200 mg, is dried, milled beetroot — the same deep red vegetable, with the water taken out.

Ginger Powder (root), 50 mg, is dried ground ginger, listed on the panel as root.

The leaves and the whole herb

Dandelion Powder (leaf), 100 mg. Note the part: this is the leaf, not the root. Labels differ on that, and this one says leaf.

Artichoke Extract (Cynara scolymus), 50 mg, drawn from the whole herb and standardized to 5% cynarin — a compound named right there on the panel, so it's a figure you can check rather than take on faith.

Alfalfa Powder (leaf), 20 mg — the leaf of a deep-rooted legume grown mostly as forage.

Milk thistle, and the amino acid

Milk Thistle Powder, 50 mg. Milk thistle is the spiky, purple-flowered plant with the marbled white veins on its leaves. The panel lists it simply as Milk Thistle Powder — no plant part, no silymarin percentage — and that's all we're going to say about it. If another label quotes you a silymarin percentage, that is a different ingredient from this one.

L-Cysteine Hydrochloride, 10 mg. Cysteine is one of the amino acids, and one of the small number that carry a sulfur atom. Hydrochloride is just the salt form.

How it's taken

Two capsules a day with water. No flavour to get past, nothing to stir. The shell is hypromellose — a vegetable capsule, not gelatin — and apart from the shell the only other non-active in the bottle is brown rice flour.

Who it's for

People who'd rather have milk thistle and turmeric in the same capsule than two more bottles on the shelf, plus dandelion, beet, artichoke, ginger and alfalfa that would otherwise be five more. Anyone building a simple daily routine who wants the form — powder or standardized extract — printed beside each botanical, and the plant part beside all of them except the milk thistle. It's non-GMO, in a hypromellose vegetable capsule rather than gelatin.

How to use it

As a dietary supplement, adults take two (2) capsules daily. For best results, take with 6-8 oz (177-237ml) of water or as directed by healthcare professional.

What's in it

Hypromellose (vegetable capsule), Brown Rice Flour.
