The three on the front of the bottle
Tongkat ali is Eurycoma longifolia, a slender tree native to Southeast Asia, and the part used is the root. The panel prints it at 400 mg a serving — the largest of the three named on the front of the bottle.
Maca is Lepidium meyenii, a root vegetable grown at altitude in the Peruvian Andes. The root again, at 250 mg.
The ginseng line is a 125 mg blend of two roots, and both are printed underneath it: Panax ginseng, the Asian one, and Eleutherococcus senticosus — eleuthero, sometimes sold as Siberian ginseng.
The rest of the panel
L-Arginine HCl comes in at 250 mg. Arginine is an amino acid, and HCl means it's supplied as the hydrochloride salt.
Two minerals carry Daily Values. Calcium, as calcium carbonate, is 367 mg or 28% DV. Zinc, as zinc oxide, is 50 mg — 455% of the Daily Value, which is a figure worth noticing if you're already taking zinc from somewhere else.
Then the 745 mg proprietary blend. The panel prints its contents in order but doesn't break out individual amounts, so neither do we: Pumpkin Extract (seed), Sarsaparilla Extract (root), Muira Puama Extract (bark), Oat Straw, Boron (amino acid chelate), Cayenne Pepper (fruit), Catuaba (bark), Licorice Extract (root), Tribulus terrestris (whole herb), Orchic (substance), Oyster Extract, Astragalus Extract (root) and Nettle Extract (leaf).
How it's taken and what to know
Two tablets once a day — that's the whole instruction. No powder, no measuring, no taste. The only other ingredients are vegetable stearic acid, vegetable magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.
One thing to say plainly: this blend includes oyster extract, and the label carries a Contains: Shellfish (Oyster) allergen line. The claims this label does carry are gluten free, non-GMO and lactose free — vegan and vegetarian are not among them.
Who it's for
Men who'd rather have tongkat ali, maca, ginseng, eleuthero, arginine, zinc and a long ingredient list on one panel than seven bottles on a shelf. Anyone comparing tongkat ali by the milligram, since the headline rows here are printed individually rather than buried. Not for anyone avoiding shellfish.
How to use it
Take two (2) tablets once a day.
