The six mushrooms
All six live inside the Organic Immune Blend, and the panel names every one by species rather than hiding them in a blanket "mushroom complex." Organic cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris), the cultivated orange species. Organic reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), the lacquered shelf fungus. Organic himematsutake, also sold as royal sun agaricus (Agaricus blazei). Organic shiitake (Lentinula edodes), the brown cap from the produce aisle. Organic maitake (Grifola frondosa), the hen of the woods. And organic turkey tails (Trametes versicolor), the banded bracket that fans out across fallen logs.
Mycelium, fermented on oats
The footnote is the part worth reading twice: mycelial biomass fermented on organic oats. Mycelium is the fine, root-like network a fungus grows as, distinct from the cap-and-stem fruiting body most people picture, and here it's fermented on an organic oat substrate. That's a different raw material from a fruiting-body extract, and mushroom blends don't always tell you which one you're holding. This panel prints it.
Beta glucans are polysaccharides found in fungal cell walls, and this label gives them their own row: 140mg total from the immune blend. It's a measured number, not one you infer from the blend weight.
The prebiotic side, and the acerola
At 5.04g the Organic Prebiotic Fiber Blend is the heaviest thing in the scoop — organic inulin, a soluble fiber that occurs naturally in plants; organic green tea leaf extract; and organic fermented ginger root. A scoop carries 4g of dietary fiber in total, 14% of the Daily Value.
The vitamin C isn't added as ascorbic acid. It comes from 248mg of organic acerola cherry extract, and the panel says so in the row itself: Vitamin C (from Organic Acerola), 56mg, 62% DV. Acerola is a small red tropical fruit, and it's why that row exists at all.
How it's taken
There's no flavoring on the ingredient list, so it tastes like what it is — earthy, savoury, mushroom-forward. That's the point of an unflavoured powder: it goes into coffee, a smoothie, a soup or oatmeal and adapts to whatever it's in.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants mushrooms and prebiotic fiber in one scoop rather than two tubs, and who'd rather read six species by name than trust a proprietary blend. It's vegan, gluten free and non-GMO, and a tub runs a month at a scoop a day.
How to use it
Take one (1) scoop daily mixed into food or drinks or as directed by a health professional.
What's in it
Organic Cassava Maltodextrin.
